Everybody wants no vfxfogvolumeinfo
I want Infinite Fog Volume
This modifies the fog to stretch out across the land with vibrant colors to match the cities atmosphere. With increased range and fade distance, the horizon will always have a welcoming glow.
Features:
- Fog volume is now 10 - 100 times bigger with no fps drop
- Fog now uses spot lights that can be faintly seen during the day
- Range is extended by 2000 percent
- Fade is also extended to match distance
- Very high falloff and low density that wont block the sky
- 107 shades of 7 colors to choose from
Vanilla - No colors have been edited
White - Every shade of White
Blue - Every shade of Blue
Gold - Every shade of Gold
Rainbow - Completely random colors
Cyberpunk - Mainly Blue and Purple shades
Neon Noir Genesis - This was choosen by name as ChatGPT's favorite colors as seen in the first 3 pictures
How To Install:
- Copy vfxfogvolumeinfo.ymt to
update update.rpf x64 data effects
This was tested with vanilla timecycle fog density
If the fog is too bright or too dark, check fogvolume density in your timecycle files. Default is 1.0

@gtavjamal Thank you. Yes that looks like fog emitters from the weather system. I have a rain mod, but have never been happy with the local fog. I can give it a look.

cool mod, it'd be cool if this was an ASI hook/patch to bypass most limits within the engine

Request: A blood-reddish color would be awesome to see.
Also would this work with the LCPP Mod? Mainly when I am loaded in liberty city. If that's the case then I would love to use this mod for that.
@BATMAN160109 Yes I could do a blood red fog color. If your asking can this be made for LCPP so that has fog volume, yes but would require finding over 100 unique locations and would take a long time.
