Hey. Ever think how much the SMG Mk.II kinda looks like the GTA IV SMG? No? Well I did. So I took the liberty of editing the SMG Mk.II animation files and have the character hold the gun in one hand, similar to the GTA IV SMG. I've included a vehiclelayouts.meta allowing you to use the SMG as a driveby weapon.
One more thing. I didn't like the ridges on the regular magazines, so I edited the textures and removed them. I think the mags look a bit more smooth, but whatever. All attachments work as normal, the only difference being you hold the gun in one hand while moving (unless you're in action mode) and jumping. As always, not responsible for your shit if you don't back it up or put it in a mods folder. Alright, thanks yall.
Installation:
The magazine textures go in -
mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\mpgunrunning\dlc.rpf\x64\models\cdimages\weapons.rpf\
The animations.meta goes in - mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\mpgunrunning\dlc.rpf\common\data\ai
The layout.meta goes in - mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\ai

@Diamond King Wait, do you mean you want the micro-smg to be held up to the shoulder? Because this mod only makes the SMG Mk.II be held in one hand while you're walking. The Micro-SMG is already held in one hand while walking.
@NaijaMango I mean aiming Micro SMG with one hand, like a pistol. not walking, cause I already know the player uses it with one hand during walking. I want it for aiming

@NaijaMango Could you tell us how to change the gun animation by editing weaponanimation.meta?
@jiuwu Sure:
•Go into the weaponanimation.meta & hit ctrl+f to open the search bar or just go to whatever weapon you're changing.
•Make sure you're editing the area that has more text like this, https://i.imgur.com/0oETO5V.png and not this, https://i.imgur.com/2yiS0iw.png .
•There you can change the animation for: how you jump/fall holding the weapon, how you walk & run with the weapon, how you aim with the weapon, etc. What I did (I think) for the SMG Mk.II is I took some standing and running animations from a pistol and put it over the SMG's <MotionClipSetHash>.
•You can also change how fast the shooting animation plays here under the AnimFireRateModifier, although I recommend changing rate of fire in the weapons.meta.
•Also be sure you know which animations go to which value. To avoid confusion, I exclusively only replace animations from other guns when I'm editing.
@NaijaMango oh,I see,by the way could you tell us which hash should we change to change the aiming animation and reloading animation? I tried to change several times,but I could not find exactly every hash means,and which caused many error.
@jiuwu It's been a while since I modded GTA 5, so I'm taking a stab at this.
Aiming is - <WeaponClipSetStreamedHash>
Reloading is actually in the weaponcomponents.meta - There are different specific animations: •RELOAD_DEFAULT_WITH_EMPTIES is for pistols
•RELOAD_DEFAULT_BOTH_SIDES is for RPG-styled weapons
•RELOAD_EXTRA_LARGE is for drum magazines
•RELOAD_DEFAULT is for two handed weapons (rifles, mgs, snipers, shotguns)
•RELOAD_LARGE is basically RELOAD_DEFAULT but for the extended magazine (which is slightly slower).
@NaijaMango reload animation set is WeaponClipSetStreamedHash in weaponanimations.meta while the other ones determine what animimation it will use
