A tribute to the iconic World Trade Center — now in GTA 5
Originally created for GTA 4 by HBX Works, this legendary mod has been lovingly converted and enhanced for GTA 5 by Emma. Featuring improved models, detailed textures, remastered observation decks, and upgraded surroundings — all designed to feel like an official Rockstar DLC. A respectful recreation of the towers that once defined the skyline.
You might say the towers look out of proportion compared to the rest of the map—but I don’t think so. The contrast between the smaller skyscrapers and these massive giants is just beautiful. It’s magical.
I’ve poured my heart into this project. I really tried to give it that Rockstar-level polish, instead of something rushed or half-done.

The interiors are not accessible yet. My focus was mainly on the outside and the tops of the towers. I plan to remaster the interiors in the future and make them into proper MLOs—but that takes time, and I’m working on a lot of things IRL. Still, I love this project, and I work on it when I can.
The optimization is not perfect yet. You may encounter:
But don’t worry — the mod is still totally playable!

To make things more fun, I also created a tiny script that lets you teleport to the top of the World Trade Center. Just walk toward one of the entrance doors, and you’ll see a prompt asking you to pay $30 to go up. Simple and immersive.

Ensure there are no conflicts between ymap files or other assets. These can cause objects to disappear or float unnaturally.
Common symptoms:

🔍 Tip: Models made specifically for this mod are prefixed with "WTC_". You can skip those — they won’t conflict with game files.
Verify your:

After resolving any duplicates, the mod should work correctly and smoothly. This process ensures fewer issues like floating buildings or misplaced objects.

- A delivery dock
- The observation deck has been completely remastered
- The plaza is adapted to the map
- Improved textures, models, and more
- LODs added and some optimization done

- Click on “Open Package Installer” and locate the wtc.oiv file included in the package. (Or just drag and drop the OIV into OpenIV)
- Run the installer and follow the prompts. Once the installation is complete, you're ready to play!

not sure if it's possible to fix, but NPCs are constantly spawning and flying under the map, then they die, respawn and all over again, you can actually hear them screaming around WTC

@pomme - There are still hanging props in the air and between the 2 towers there are some small props and a little triangular window hanging in air. The closed LS metro building player falls under the map. Pls also fix the building night lights. There are some weird light cones on ground but doesnt come from any of the lamps? Pls. fix.

Ohh mannn, this looks so fire, too bad it's in the wrong place for me as I have a custom park at legion square....I would love to have this tho. Amazing work !
Looks Awesome so far! It's at an awesome location as well. Legion has always been an ugly place to me even for a park! Someone commented that it looks weird from a distance and I can confirm there is a weird window lighting effect where it seems to just distort the look of the lights making it look awful from a distance. I have screen shots I can send to you if you would like.
Also, You should have a discord for all your mods then people can create tickets and post screen shots. This will be a popular mod once it's all zipped up and more people see it. I'm about to try the desert map tonight. You do great work!
