This is my first Add-on car. Everything works fine, but I could not find way to make my tuning parts working. After lot of time waste spending in attempts, I finally decided to set mod kit to "0_default_modkit". That way car at least has some modifications.
Anyway I included all tuning parts in the .dlc file, so if you are an expert you may want to try to make it working. Please let me know if you make it, i would like to learn it too.
You can choose between two versions of the car (plates shape)
1.Copy "2011mazda2" folder to :\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks
2. Using OpenIV, go to: \Grand Theft Auto V\\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data — find the "dlclist.xml"
and add the following line:
dlcpacks:\2011mazda2\
dlc_2011mazda2:/
update:/dlc_patch/2011mazda2/
Done!
To spawn the car using the trainer type:
2011mazda2

I missed one ´>` sign at the end of the line in installation text that comes with the file :( - apologize, here is the corection:
Installation:
Choose folder with your preferable plates shape and:
1.Copy "2011mazda2" folder to :\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks
2. Using OpenIV, go to: \Grand Theft Auto V\\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data — find the "dlclist.xml"
and add the following line:

dlcpacks:\2011mazda2\

3. (optional - it was not necessary for me ) Using OpenIV, go to: \Grand Theft Auto V\\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data — find the "extratitleupdatedata.meta"
and add the following line:

<deviceName>dlc_2011mazda2:/</deviceName>
update:/dlc_patch/2011mazda2/

Done!

What's the problem? Maybe I can help. Currently doing add ond from replacers to my Fivem server
@MoravianLion Not sure what the problem is. I thought it might be somewhere in carcols.meta, but may be not. I did try to change lot of IDs for mod kit but none works. Anyway those tuning parts are not so special, I made it just to make replace version working:) I am happy that car works well without it.
Hi, please modify the installation.txt, because the dlclist.xml line is wrong:

dlcpacks:\2011mazda2\</Item
You forgot to put the sign ´>` at the end of the line, which makes the game not to detect any other mod!
I spend some hours searching for the problem, it could be useful for other users...
Thanks and good mod!
@JuanitoPicasso Oh! Thanks for your time... I will try :)))
@JuanitoPicasso I pinned it here, hope it will do. Thank you very much, and my apologize to you
@NajPotez Nice, no problem!
Car's perfect! Very detailed and just enough for GTA V. Most cars we have available to download have way too much detail on the car which looks unnatural in GTA. If I were to compare this to anther vanilla car in GTA, it would look this mazda would blend in with the crowd of AI cars. This is perfect! Keep!!!
I've been tweaking with the handling settings and I can tell you that the car doesn't roll or tilt under acceleation or deceleration. I recommend adding this into your file:
access handling.meta in the mazda's file and change both "rollcenterheightFront" and "rollcenterheightRear" to values of 0.1. This way, you have a realistic body lean.
Also, I would reccomend having the vehicle's center of mass at 0, 0, 0 for x, y, and z respectively. From there you can make the car understeer as much as you want (at least I was trying to make it drive realisticlly and understeer most of the time at high speeds.)
Here are the values that I've change in the handling.meta to make the car's handling more realistic:
VECCENTREOFMASSOFFSETX = 0
VECCENTREOFMASSOFFSETY = 0
VECCENTREOFMASSOFFSETZ = 0
FLOWSPEEDTRACTIONLOSSMULT = 0.85
FTRACTIONBIASFRONT = 0.495
FROLLCENTREHEIGHTFRONT = 0.1
FSUSPENSIONBIASFRONT = 0.5
FROLLCENTREHEIGHTREAR = 0.1
@allfans26 Thank You very much :) To be honest, I haven't learned anything about handling values yet... I just tested some handlings made for another cars and used one looked good enaugh :) Thanks for sharing this.
@NajPotez Do you happen to know how to convert cars from other games like Forza to GTA? Or at least edit current models to fix some bugs? I know some cars that I really like have some small bugs that bother the hell out of me like tires not fitting under the wheel well and pokes out a little. Do you know who to teach someone like me to do this? I'd love to learn how to edit and create cars for GTA.
To convert cars for GTA5 you need "Z-modeler." software. I use "Z-modeler3" in which you can import .3ds, .obj , .dae and some other types of files. So, whatever you can convert to those files, you can make .yft file of it in Z-modeler. To see how - search YouTube for tutorials .
