@Bilago Found that "disable on exit" during the first time setup. Like you said on your Nanny mode update, people fail to read and I fell under that category. I enabled that feature, only thinking it sounded like a good idea to have enabled.
Thank you for the support!
@Bilago Thing is I was never going online in the first place, yet the manager cleans up everything. Pretty sure that's the core function of this manager. I gave it one more shot, installing an add-on car mod using import modded RPF, it worked, but I had to manually change a dlclist.xml and 'that one' meta file every time I close and run GTA SP. I guess it's implied that add-on car mods don't work well with this manager? And if that was the case, I probably have to change the way I look for mods or just keep changing the xml and meta files. Also, there's also the theory of using multiple add-on cars mods that use those same files not working using the manager
Unless I'm overlooking a process I haven't thought of yet like using the manager to use a 'master' dlclist.xml and meta file. Anyway, thank you for the response!
No install instructions, even though there was a readme file that you state for all of us to read, only to find that its just you giving credit to everyone who helped make this mod possible. Thank you guys for working so hard on something that everyone probably had to find the god damn instructions from youtube or the comments here.
@iTzz--Savage - You da real mvp of this mod and you didn't even create it. Thank you!
I take my previous comment back, even with nanny mode unticked, this mod manager still deletes my mod file. If I'm not using this feature correctly, please someone let me know. Otherwise, I'm going to stop using this as deleting my mods folder every time I log off of GTAV is very counter-productive.
Been using this mod manager for a few days after just getting the game. Same goes for modding GTAV. I've been using OpenIV 'mods' folder technique when it comes to installing car mods and other misc mods, but I wasn't following up with using the 'Import Modded RPF" files. Of course I didn't read the warning on the Nanny Mode and just kept hitting No in the warning prompt. After installing roughly around 10 mods, and hitting Yes in that nanny mode warning after exiting the game, all those mods got uninstalled. I figured one of the biggest features that this mod manager has is the capability to switch GTASP and GTAO seemlessly, but like any game I decided to modify, I always have a copy of the game (especially with Steam games). All I would have to do is switch up the file names and Steam will launch either my modded game or the original game. I highly suggest everyone doing it this way, not only does this provide a backup for your game files but also provides you an alternate way of going online.
I'll be using the OpenIV mods installation technique and still continue to use this Mod Manager. I believe I have some sort of grasp into the capability this mod manager provides. Installing easy scripts and trainers and other things, I'll use the Mod Manager, but anything that modifies RPFs or anything else, I'll use OpenIV mods folder. I know this method is redundant, using two different ways to installing mods. I also know that I could use the import modded RPF function, but I already have a method of installing these files easily to my ability, why change it up when it already works? I'm still relatively new to this, and as I pick up more complex mods, I'm sure these two utilities will make my experience to modding GTAV that much better. Good fucking job on this mod manager. Any problem I came across using this was my own damn fault in not reading everything all the way.
