@ReNNie thank you for reaching out to me. However, I’m not planning to create such a mod. My intention with "Vegetation Reflection" was to enable these reflections without replacing existing files, but rather by providing additional models. Unfortunately, this wasn’t entirely possible, so I had to make slight adaptations to the default shader.

Even though it wasn’t the first mod to enable vegetation reflections, it introduced a new approach by focusing on ease of installation, without requiring additional mods or scripts.

Implementing more advanced reflections would involve extensive modifications to the shader, likely the addition of scripts, and possibly building upon other frameworks or mods. Even if I were able to achieve that (which is uncertain, given my limited experience with shader programming), it would probably amount to reinventing solutions that other modders have already created.

@andy55596 this mod does not cover the area of Mt. Chiliad. Do you mean Forests of San Andreas? If so please get the latest version of that.

@adinhoa first you need to install the mod and then (if needed) the compatibility patch. The patch itself does not contain any files but only instructions what to adapt (see assembly.xml in the OIV).

@eddie0704 yes, he already shared that mod with me and I will resolve these collisions.

@jjj777 this mod can be used as standalone or in combination with my other mods. But since this mod replaces HD models you need to ensure that no other mod replaces the same archetypes/models. For example, NVE provides such models. So to use this mod with NVE you need to remove the line
<Item>dlcpacks:/NVE_vegetation/</Item>
from your dlclist.xml

@sleepykevin on the one hand it performs better because of missing leaves but on the other hand calculating shadows is actually more demanding. but those effects are both rather negligible and overall this mod doesn't really affect performance.
