I'm not sure if it's possible to get that specific with the AI, but I will look into it.
@CamxxCore I'm using tanker explosion for vehicles and most ordinances but at different scales using the explosionfx.dat. I don't call the ptfx files, my mods are just simple edits to the meta and tune files. I haven't figured out how to change water explosions yet.
@AitGamers Not yet, that last DLC has screwed something up. Every time I try to load the game it crashes. Still tinkering with it.
You should try my cinematic explosions mod, these explosions are too small for the ordinance being deployed.
all the vehicleaihandlinginfo.meta does is adjusts the speed the vehicle is traveling at the degree of turn it is currently making and sets the min/max braking distance. The latter is how you can either create hellish pile ups or turn the AI into grandparents who stop half a mile from the car in front of them.
The vehicle.meta controls things like damage map effect, how much the vehicle is affected by environmental conditions, number of identical vehicles to be spawned, basically a lot of stuff to tweak.
aihandling.meta is where the brains of the ai are, that's where you can fine tune how they react to each situation they will encounter while in a vehicle.
I think what I'm going to do is what most modders do and create two types of the mod, an extreme version for players like me who want things over the top and another version for explosions bigger than R*s explosions but not the size most are now. I will work on this over the next week. Thanks for the comments. XD
