NOTE ON CREDIT:
I do not know why the original mod was deleted to begin with, but I presume it was due to the complication of private matters, but I personally like it, and considering it's open source, I recompiled it and uploaded it once again thanks to me having a copy of it laying in my Google Drive.
I attempted to contact Konijima multiple times, and it seems like he has gone off the grid, so I decided to reupload this and credit him as the creator, and me as the one who recompiled his code and will continue the work, but he is the original creator.
///
ABOUT:
This is a rewrite and continuation of Konijima's amazing V Override mod. This mod is a fixed and largely redone version of the GTAVOverride, which is now simply, V: Override.
WHAT IT DOES:
This mod is best used after the prologue is completed, and allows you to tweak areas of the game to provide your own experience in singleplayer in a sandbox environment.
FEATURES:
Player persistence, auto-save with many settings. (Currently does not support weapon saving)
Vehicle persistence and auto-save last used vehicle. (Does not support tire smoke saving)
Kill the storyline scripts to allow for a sandbox styled environment, or keep story scripts enabled. (Highly recommended to keep story scripts off)
Randomize pedestrian money and rob them at gunpoint. (Likely will be removed)
Choose what blips you want on the map, such as police precincts, hospitals, etc.
Toggle stores, and other functions of the game on and off via the config file as you please.
Choose your re-spawn mode and fees when killed or arrested.
Have a cleaner wasted and busted screen without text obscuring the view.
HOW TO INSTALL:
Drop the scripts folder into your root folder.
Make sure the latest versions of ScriptHook V and ScriptHook V .NET are installed.
CHANGELOG:
1.0: Reuploaded the mod.
1.1: Packaged in files for use to be added using OpenIV to disable default saving and game loading, as it is managed by V Override.
1.0.0: Rewrote the mod quite a bit using pieces of the old code, and fixing errors and issues. Tire smoke and weapons currently do not save.

@SylveticHearts What if...I would like to disable vehicle persistence but keep player persistence? I already have a vehicle persistence mod that I like.
@SylveticHearts What does this even mean?
9:08:05 PM: Kill Scripts only is enabled, not continuing mod initialization...
9:08:05 PM: Mod is aborting...
9:08:05 PM: Clearing all blips...
@SylveticHearts Ignore my other comments, if you want. They've been figured out. Now I'm concerned about this mod and also Expanded Radar by Alex106 both using pausemenu.xml.
@Bet Nimrod oooh, I haven't updated this in a while, I'm sorry for ignoring you I've been busy with my personal life and stuff.
@SylveticHearts S'alright, the creator of the other mod told me what to do to use both.
@SylveticHearts Apologies for bothering you again.
What do these mean exactly?
KILL_GTAV_SCRIPTS_ONLY = False
DONT_KILL_GTAV_SCRIPTS = False
A little confusing.
@Bet Nimrod so dont kill scripts means it will allow the storyline to play, and i cant remember what kill gta v scripts only does.
@SylveticHearts Thanks. Well it seems this mod causes my game to freeze randomly when driving. C'est la vie. Wonder if there's any other mod that can disable the story scripts.
@SylveticHearts Well it seems I think kill scripts only means that the story scripts are killed and that's all the mod does. I'm speculating this is so since the logs show that the mod doesn't continue to initialize when kill scripts only is enabled and the mod is aborted. That's really all I need it for but it would be much better if the kill story scripts was a standalone mod. Anyway, I'm testing to hopefully discover why my game freezes when this mod + whatever other mod is conflicting with it are present simultaneously. I'll keep you informed if I discover anything.
@Bet Nimrod Alright, and I'm likely gonna work on removing excess from the mod and possibly restructuring it's code, so we'll see.
@SylveticHearts Well I mean that's all it does when kill scripts only is on. Anyway, this mod and Enhanced Native Trainer don't get along but I'm not sure why. I was able to use this mod, drive without the game freezing, when I didn't have ENT installed. As for now, I have removed this mod from the game folder temporarily, most likely.
@Bet Nimrod I understand, I'm gonna come back see what can be fixed.
Heyy guys, I'm sorry for the lack of updates and stuff. I've been going through a lotta issues in life regarding some personal choice and things with my family, but I'm working on restructuring the mod so it will be more compatible with other mods.
Expect an update at some point soon. I do not know exactly when, as I am terrible with timing, but I promise you guys I'll deliver what I put out.
Hi guys! I'm following up from my last response ten days ago, and as I promised, I am working on an update that is going to revamp this mod quite a bit.
The next update will remove a lot of useless functions that originally were developed when the mod was made by Konjimma, and doing this will not only make it easier for me to add onto V Override in the future, but it likely will run smoother as well.
I also have plans for the mod to override the game's original save system with a all new, custom one that will save and reload your location every time you play the game, fix spawning in the air when using custom map conversions by spawning the player in a vehicle whenever they spawn in the game if they have nowhere else to spawn in at, implement proper wallet and money use for mp models, as well as add features that will allow this to work with my custom version of the Liberty V map that I have been tinkering with.
Expect a release when it's ready, and you can join my discord using this link if you want to keep connected! Cheers!

@SylveticHearts Cool. I'll be waiting. Looking forward to it. Especially the MP money. Until then, many other games to play across all four major platforms. 🙃👍
@Bet Nimrod Dude please post the solution for this issue!
@Bet Nimrod how did you fix this.
9:08:05 PM: Kill Scripts only is enabled, not continuing mod initialization...
9:08:05 PM: Mod is aborting...
9:08:05 PM: Clearing all blips...
Please, make the weapons persistant, this mod is perfect!!!
I hope she comes back, this mod is so authentic.
It just needs a good update.
I loved the intro screen btw,
@SylveticHearts Thank you for reviving this mod, but now it works with some bugs and there are still some things missing, such as being able to call a taxi, LS Custom to tune cars and being able to buy properties to generate extra income.
I hope you come back soon and want to update this amazing mod. Or make the source code available so someone can update it. ^^
