It's 2023 and it's apparently still impossible to disable camera auto centering.
I'm using v1.2.9 from the GitHub and the rest of the mod seems to work, but turning off "Third person vehicle auto centering" seems to do nothing at all. I've tried with both vehicle-specific settings as well as with custom presets disabled. Same with the setting for on-foot. Also the setting to disable camera shake when running doesn't seem to do anything, it still bobs up and down like crazy.
@dd4275 nope none. Make sure you download the one from GITHUB link.
broken - pls update!
Thank you very much CamxxCore you have allowed me to change the camera to my liking !!!
There is only one thing missing.
Just like the option you added to get rid of the zoom while in vehicles that a very much enjoy, you might not know but there is a zoom still that I would like to get rid of !
The zoom activates while you are going up in altitude, it starts at around maybe 1000-1500feet and is in full force when you are on top of the maze bank building !
If you can find a way to allow us to turn this of I would be very happy.
Like it is now I can make the "fov" like I want but as soon as I go to high the game zooms out and I don't want this.
Thanks again !
P.S. your update worked for me.
will this ever support ragemp?
Hey, is there the chance of including a vertical camera offset for first/third person modes in future updates?
Another annoying thing with the camera is the way it changes the vertical camera height depending on the weapon currently equip, some have very nice height so when the camera is pulled in over the right shoulder such as the shotgun, grenade launcher, and some assault rifles so you can see the weapon really nicely - is it possible to set each weapon to this camera position when in aim mode third person? The other weapons all pull the camera higher up to where the character is no longer visible.
Disabling the zoom on weapon aim third person would also be a nice option for when the camera is already pulled in, it allows run and gunning in third person without the character constantly lowering their weapon and the crosshair dissapearing, and having to wait for the character to raise the weapon. I haven't found any mods that stop the auto-lowering of weapons in third person :(
@nickaoke In this new version, I used 1.66 to change some settings. Switching to the first person game will crash, will you do this?
