Installation
Place CustomWeaponAnimations.dll and weaponanimations.meta into your "scripts" folder. You will need the latest Script Hook V and .NET Script Hook.
About
With this mod you can can override the default weapon animations with different in-game animations.
Example of weapon entry:

This makes the revolver use one handed animations.
Item key - The weapon name
IdleClipSet - The animation dictionary and file separated by a comma that plays when the player is aiming
IdleAnimFreezeTime - The animation time (0.0 - 1.0) in which the idle clipset will freeze (useful for using specific animations), leave -1 to ignore
FireClipSet - The animation dictionary and file separated by a comma that plays when the player is firing, leave "null" without the parentheses to ignore.
I left some examples that are also shown in the video.

This would be my favorite mod. However the animation only works on a X axis. Is there another one out there?

peds action is stiff i want you fix it
Would have been nice mod if these animations weren't stiff and thus useless, though I know these are in-game animations and their stiffness is not author's fault, this does not adds usefulness to this script.
Update. This appeared to have been working only for the firs time. Been trying to reinstall this - no result.
This mod is so cool. Too bad it doesnt work at all.
