About
This script mod brings back the drug dealers from the beta in GTA 5. It was removed for unknown reasons. There are a lot of references with unfinished scripts/animations and also shown in the first trailer of GTA V. They basically operated like the crack dealer pedestrians in GTA San Andreas, selling drugs to the player and other peds/NPCs. The mod spawns the drug dealer peds ambiently around the player's location. They are fully scripted and work automatically like a service ped (hooker for example). You can approach them and "buy" drugs for full health. They will also sell to other pedestrians in the area. They are armed randomly with a pistol or knife and have tons of money which is a great way to gain lots of cash early.
Changelog
1.0
- Initial Release
1.1
- Added a configuration file (.XML) to change various settings for the script such as enabling the blip, event time intervals, pedestrian model IDs, and which areas/zones they can spawn in
- Fixed an issue where drug dealers weren't disposed properly

It would be better if you lose some money when you buy drugs.
Man, when are we getting an update? I want to keep it in my game all the time, but the dealers are spawning every where. LOL! They spawn on buildings, on the highways, on cars, in the airport....Is that not a federal violation dealing drugs in an airport? LOL!
@jedijosh920 I dunno if you can do this, but do you think you can make a .asi script that enables the ability to make any car you want, to have cop sirens? Then in the ".ini" file, you can add cars you wish to be "police-turned"? I love this mod btw!
@jedijosh920
Great Beta version, Haha i was messing around with the Kraken sub after unlocking it and a drug dealer spawned right next to me deep in the ocean. It was quite funny. You got any plans to only make them spawn in LS and Blaine County only? Like maybe in the lower income housing areas? Its odd seeing them spawn in teh ocean and in the middle of Paleto Forest lol. Great work though! Can't wait for an update! :)
@jedijosh920 Hoping this won't end up being an abandoned mod.
Though, I've compiled a small list of things that should be added/removed/changed/etc.
-Specific spawn points throughout the map. A "drug dealer" spawning in the middle of a busy highway when you're driving is a bit... odd.
-Option to remove blips. Simple as that.
-Decreased amount of spawns. I mean come on, a drug dealer on practically every street isn't... ya know... normal. Again, that kind of adds on to the 'specific spawn points' idea.
-Three to five [somewhat] distinctive ped models only. I'm using this mod from an LSPDFR viewpoint; I want to be able to [kind of] tell if someone looks a bit fishy, standing on the corner, briefly talking to passer-by's he seems to know pretty well...
Otherwise, it's a great idea for a mod. I just believe it was released too early for it's current stage, which makes certain aspects of it impractical.
@pixzelbeast @gongel @elliotgrinch @TrustNo1 @chrisnovxxx Updated!
@jedijosh you're the man!!!! thank you sir!!!!
I love this up until the point that I had to wonder which mod created some dude who pops into existence in my sight 5-30 feet away. Without any way to manage this, it breaks immersion and is currently unplayable for me unfortunately.
@jedijosh920 :)
Fun mod that just adds to the experience like most of jedijosh's mods.
How do you find details like this?
jedijosh920 keeping it real.

LS LIFE Compat?
Okay so turns out JediJosh has left GTA modding in 2019, and probably the gaming communities in general (or at least isn't active on them; I checked all of his links).
BUT!!!
I am willing to voluntarily FIX AND FORK any of JediJosh's mods and re-upload them here (with due credit of course). I'm also willing to make small, QOL changes to existing mods or to restore/enhance/add a bit of functionality to them.
I have programming experience in Java, C++, Python and a bit of SQL, but absolutely no exp in GTA V modding, so I'll need a hand or at least someone to show me what causes the crashes/bugs.
If you're a MOD DEV with at least a basic understanding of GTA V modding, and you'd like to join me and fix these wonderful mods together, hit me up on Discord (Rome101#8527) or here on DM.
@Rome101 rip Jedijosh :(
