This mod doesnt work. Cool mod btw if it would work. If you should use this properly you would have to install a more police on the streets mod or something. However for the effort of this mod and idea I will give it 4 stars.

@bmw740il You can install cops back on the beat to spawn more cops in the traffic and "added traffic" mod also works I guess. Try them out. I would recommend cops back on the beat more.

@bmw740il you can try to copy everything from the archive into your root game folder, may be you're missing some dependencies. If that won't help you can try to install all the dependencies using the links in the description. Menu may not appear for example if ScriptHookVDotNet2.dll is missing.

@bmw740il okay, you can try to check the log files, the reason would be either in BetterTrafficLaws.log or ScriptHookVDotNet.log file in the game root directory, try to search there for any ERROR or WARNING messages. Also you can press F4 in the game to open the scripthook console to see the logs.

Yo I love this mod, but i want to deinstall it bcs on LSPDFR it doesnt work that well, so how do i do that ? if i remove all the files from the mod i cant play anymore because my game crashes

@Wuenschling please remove only BetterTrafficLaws.dll as other files are dependencies and could be used by other mods.

@null_pointer suggestion for a new feature...Penalty for a stolen car or car theft of any kind.

better chases+ is fully customizable as well, i've never been more satisfied with any police dispatch on any game than with gta with this mod

@dzsergio trust me, there not working. i've been modding a long long time and i know what i'm doing, its not my first rodeo...it causes the cops to hold in place, not moving or to not show up at all. they are outdated...last update was 2020...there has been at least three updates to gta5, including updates to script hook and other dependencies...i've tried it several times all with the same results, and with the mod by itself...i've tried all the possible combinations of settings in the mod...it used to work when it was released...but the mod simply doesn't work anymore...if it works for you, good on you but that isn't the case for me. it IS this mod, it's broken...as my other mods don't do any other weird shit.

on another note i still want what i requested regardless if there's other mods that do the same thing...there's no problem with that as i believe in the "more the merrier" philosophy.

@defiant there are two fixes needed for that, oiv install of additional mods that puts cops on patrols (streets and sideways) + rarly spawning areas

@dzsergio thanks but i don't think you're understanding what im saying...im not looking to put cops on patrol...i know that mod too...the cops in the game glitch out...they are there, but they don't move, they are stuck...in place...not driving...lights on. there's a trainer that if you turn on a certain setting causes the same bug but its not all the time. anyway, its ok...i appreciate your help...but this is where i bow out. /salute
