Carbon Fibre Jester Updated! [Texture Mod]
Update Changes:
. Fixed Overall Scale (Was too zoomed in!)
Note: I have kept it's 4k resolution due to the amount
of detail it can contain, however the overall quality was compromised
due to the scale adjustments.(So it's not really 4k standard anymore)
Installation:
1. Run OpenIV and select GTA 5.
2. navigate to update\x64\dlcpacks\mpchristmas2\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles\xmas2vehicles.rpf.
3. Find jester2.ytd and replace it with the file you've just downloaded. (Backup you files first!)
4. As always Enjoy! :)

@ IIZACHARIAHII good to see u here. Can't wait for zmodeler plugins to be finished. I guess same goes for 3dsmax GIMS so u can do map mods again
I blame GTASeriesVideos for that horrible Texture Showcase video.
Half of what they featured was pure shit.
What I'm saying is. More people are not even trying for good, detailed textures in a attempt to get in those videos. Hopefully the next showcase isn't full of cancerous garbage.
Looks like you've never seen Carbon Fiber in real life.
@Dauge i was actualy insulted by that texture showcase video
@owenwilson2, we all were pal. We all were. Some of the stuff I made actually took effort.
@Dauge you can tell who works hard and who dont mate.
Even just on the picture it looks too low res. You probably need 8K resolution for carbon textures to look good.
ALL COMMENTS TAKEN IN TO CONSIDERATION.
I will work on improvements, rescaling, resizing, overall improvements.
@tall70 Good to see you here too mate.Yeah i must admit this mod was a mistake, it was late and i just wanted to upload somethink I thought it looked nice so i uploaded it. I guess i will stick to map modding, bring on gims iv. :D
I don't think anyone hates the mod, but when you title it 4K Carbon Fiber, meanwhile it looks like 480p woven greyscale, thats where the hate is coming from
@Paradoxymoron Totally agree with you, but it's this type of constructive criticism that will help me improve as a modder. I have just updated it, should be approved soon. I've also removed the "4K" title to avoid further hate. :D
Nice, it actually looks pretty good now.
Thanks man. :)
i like it how to see more improvements :).. keep improving and getting better :D no one started perfectly :)
Ayy looks much better, good job man!
@hachuking I'm glad you like it now. As for improvements, for this mod probably not, unless I use a different carbon fibre texture. but you will see much more mods with improvement from me in the future.
@SMNdesign Thanks man, i'm glad I was able to change your opinion on this mod. :)
no real hate but seriously please we have enough of these texture mods!
@Intel Yeah, you're not wrong there. But that's because the modding community hasn't quite caught up with GTA 4's, you be patient bigger and better mods will come. :P
Looks better than previous version, but I have some constructive critism for you. First of all, the texture dimensions are wrong, for better optimization it should be a power of 2 resolution (4096px instead of 4000px). Then, the texture isn't mip mapped. As well, to improve detail, the texture could be a bit sharper when you are using such large resolution. Last of all, I noticed a narrow, long horizontal seam almost in the middle of the texture, easy to fix. With a bit more time spent on it, you could polish it into perfection.
@Bone34 Thanks for the advice, really appreciate it. :)
