This handling.meta mod is designed to make the handling of the Vacca much more lifelike in terms to it's real-life counterpart, Lamborghini Gallardo. The engine is actually based on a RMR V10, instead of the in-game 5.1 Liter 540hp.
For realism, I have increased the top speed to 192mph matched with the Gallardo instead of the in-game speed of 120mph (although the in-game browser said 190mph). I reduced the amount of wheel spin and engine rev on takeoff, making it take off as if it really would without sliding all over the place. I also raised the weight, as the current weight was set at about 2700lb, when it needed to be set at about 3500lb instead. With this, I increased the traction, and allowed the car to turn slightly more sharply with less slip, so you don't spin out. The brake force has also been increased for relatively quick stopping (bot obviously not perfect). One last thing I did after that was also raise the force of the suspension, stiffening it just enough to be realistic.
FUTURE NEEDS:
1. One thing I'd like to do is to be able to decrease the acceleration to about 3.9sec. It's currently at about 2.1sec and I would like to raise that for the intention of realism. However, to do this I would have to lower the top speed. Once I have figured this out I will fix accordingly.
CHANGELOG:
1.01: Fixed the oversteer, slightly increased brake force, lowed the acceleration speed, slightly increased grip.
1.06: There are now two version and tweaks. I lowered the car on the suspension very slightly, increased shift speeds, increased brake power slightly, lowered acceleration time, slightly hardened suspension, and fixed the steering, as well as handbrake! In my opinion it is now perfect.
1.07b: Fixed AWD a bit.
1.07c: I had some message me that the ReadMe containing the vehicle data was wrong. Sorry folks! That's fixed now.
There is also now a 4-wheel drive version. This one drives slightly faster (201mph), slightly softer suspension, and hugs the roads nice and tight in turns, as well as shifts and accelerates a tad faster.

Hey there! Just a FYI: Best way to decrease accelleration imo is to play with the DriveInertia value (lowering to decrease) and InitialDriveForce value. Hope this will help you. Keep going, Matt!
Can you make a mod that reduces wheelspin/rpm of all cars? Or at least sports cars.. As of now, you can't take of normally no matter how gently you press the forward key. It just shoots of in wheelspin no matter what.
Good mod, thanks.
@hostrup This is a big thing here. See, I was successful in reducing a LOT of the Vacca's wheelspin by putting some of the power into the front wheels (about 30%). I'll work on tweaking it.
This mod is freakin' epic!! I really enjoy it. You can easily hit 200+ MPH when you upgrade it all the way. This is how fast sports cars SHOULD be like in the game.
@Kr3X Thanks! There was a guy on GTAForums that said the same thing yet me and a couple of others can't seem to find an actual difference when these values are changed. I'm looking into it though. :)
@dgsion Thanks! I love Lambos myself, and definitely needed a handling mod for the car I use a lot of the time. Oversteer is being worked on as we speak. :) Luckily that's an easy thing to tweak accordingly. Thanks for your input!
@fat_dabs710 Glad you like it! There's been an update and the handling is just a tad better and where it should be at. :) Try it out!
Maybe this reference pic (handling GTA IV) can help you:

I just did the changes for the Dubsta in my game and by increasing InitialDragCoeff (a lot...from 7.500 to 30+), decreasing DriveInertia (~0.300),it gave me a smoother acceleration at higher top speed. If you want i can send you my settings for the debusta so you can try it out and see the changes.
~Cheers~
@Kr3X I couldn't even pull the reference picture up, sadly. I had already increased my InitialDragCoeff but I'll double it again and see what it brings me. :) I've got my DriveInertia set at 0.55. The thing I've notice about DriveInertia, like gtaIV, anything lower will make the gears change slower. This is a problem when you're wanting to accelerate but even when in 3rd, 4th, 5th gear, it's take forever for the gear to change when the engine's already revved up.
Didn't wanted to take this topic so far and clutter up your comments page,
I'm sure you'll find a way to get it best for you. p.s. Unfortunately there is no post editing function here. I wanted to edit the part where i wrote "(~0.300)".....i meant -0.300 from the original value (example: If original DriveInertia value is 1.000, set it to 0.700 or something like that). KeepUp!
awesome mod :-).. but i noticed it's just me or it's more difficult to turn?
@looner_light Thanks! It's supposed to be that way a little bit. Just like Project CARS, or rather in real life. There's no way you can turn on a dime while going almost 200mph without the handbrake haha.
What's next? I put AWD version on infernus just to see it, as I can't find vaccas anywhere lol. You could try to make infern into aventador settings I suppose. I think we'll start seeing car models soon also.
Now car's driving on train track lol
okay guys, so say i want this mods, mixed with another drift mod i have installed, is there a way i could edit these into to my current mod without deleting the drift ones, like leaving those drift files without replacing with what this mod has?
yes, you open your handling file, and search for vacca.. then put values from this handling file for vacca and cut/paste into yours, replacing your vacca values.
Can you instal this in cracked version of GTA 5 ?
Can someone make real models of cars like in GTA IV ?
@marcofm Not yet, waiting on OpenIV still
