Interesting and intriguing, has lots of potential. Although to make this map good there's still a lot of work to do... It's missing huge chunks of downtown, there are no lights whatsoever, right now it's more of a novelty than something useful, wouldn't even make screenshots in it because it has such a poor texture resolution (not your fault)
That said im looking forward for some progress on it
@iammistahwolf that has nothing to do with the car
@I AM DEFALT I can assure you my car has nothing to do with cheetah or cheetah classic whichever you were refering to.
It looks so much better without the carbon stuff, can't believe noone thought of this before
@sreher no it's actually from 2007 when Rockstar was making GTA IV.
Ok where do we start, I guess first the technical aspects
- Polycount is far too low even for vanilla cars. Idk what model you used, be it Forza or NFS, but it's definitely from some older game and not up to modern standards
- I can see that you actually took time to add vanilla style interior, enginebay, and some other details. Chassis looks very low poly, more like a filler work than actual craftsmanship.
- While you did include some type of lod, which are broken, I'd argue is worse than not including them at all. Basically, don't do lods. I can assure some people will mention it, but who cares.
The exterior styling is 99% just a Nissan R34 with lore badges. I do understand that you changed some holes in the bumper, headlights and... Honestly I don't see anything else.
Now it is weird that you're trying to make a product that targets lore friendly community, but completely ignore the fact that rebadges is what lore community despises the most. Same thing happened to something called "Annis Kawaii". Lore community hates these type of cars, why make them?
If you like the design of an R34 and think it should not be changed much, why not just download and install a goddamn Nissan R34?
You realise what you have made does not appeal to 2 major groups on GTA V car enthusiasts: IRL car fans despise it because it's rebadged to Annis. And Lore community doesn't like it because it's an actual R34 just with lore badges.
I don't know if you noticed but rockstar doens't blatantly copy car models like some indie mobile game developers, they actually put some thought into it, blend different brands, make their own design choices, different proportions, sometimes they go so wild, remember we have a Murcielago mixed with Zonda rear end for god's sake.
Let's imagine if the role was flipped, you took a vanilla Elegy RH8 and rebadged it into a Nissan R35, you think the IRL car community would not throw some shade your way? You made so many of these cars and community was always loud and clear - you need a wakeup call, I don't like the way it's done, and I can see that others here are not so kind either.
@Nitroflasche fake news, game doesn't crash because of the car.
