@kizacudo yeah i've thought about that, but i'm rather invested in my other mod at the moment. this one is bug-free and complete aside from the train issue, which is a game engine limitation that nobody can change.

@vraciu yes you're right, i'm trying to use the add dlc method for my next update, and that should allow me to use DLC cars because the loading priority in GTAV loads DLC content over the top of game content. example: the game loads default carcols.ymt let's say it's the first file it loads. somewhere near the end of game loading, all of the dlc.rpf files are loaded and their data takes precedent over stock game data. Now the question remains, will the game use carcols.meta over carcols.ymt if they have the same car listed in both? I don't know yet, but will see soon.

@vraciu that's not what i mean. using this method of replacing the vehicle as a main character's vehicle makes parts of the vehicle model disappear. I think it's because the information for the Armored Kuruma (a Heist DLC car) is not in the default game's carcols.ymt. it just won't work, trust me. i tried :)

@vraciu unfortunately no, they have to be cars included with the main game or pieces of the body models disappear for some reason

@KogerOnControls don't be an asshole dude there's plenty of keyboard indicator control mods. Besides, aren't all those mods you've never made great? Don't bash someone if you don't know how to improve it yourself. Good job on the mod @XENOLIT

I even tried pulling a carcols file off of my xbox 360 gta v disc and seeing if I could edit that, but to no avail as it is in .xmt format and we can't edit those either!

@fly2012cl you are right there are, I could fudge up a carcols file for this car probably.... but that still doesn't solve the issue of not having the remaining data for all the other cars in the game in the carcols file. Again, these could probably all be replaced, but it would be a huge guessing game. Not really worth it until we can edit ymt files.

@fly2012cl the files to do this and fix all the other problems are in carcols.ymt and we can't edit the ymt files yet

@everybody Unfortunately folks, this quality is about as good as it gets until we can edit carcols.ymt :(
