VIGILANTE v0.6
Introduction
This mod brings back the loved Vigilante missions from GTA:San Andreas (and others). In a similar way, you will have to chase around suspects and 'neutralise' them.
The difficulty climbs as you progress through the levels! As does the pay too, so you can gain some side-cash!
To use this mod, just get in any police vehicle (this includes military vehicles too!) and press 2 to start the missions and follow the onscreen instructions. Press 2 at any time to cancel the current mission. Note that you can't use the police maverick since it will collide with other mods.
You have 3 minutes to start the chase, after that there's no limit. To start the chase, either start shooting the criminals, or approach them with the siren on.
Note: if you have trouble getting the enemies load, try to restart the missions. If that doesn't help, press Insert to reload the mod.

- Download and install Script Hook V (including the ASI loader).
- Download the latest Script Hook V .NET from github and copy the ASI into your game folder.
- Extract the provided Vigilante.dll to /Grand Theft Auto V/scripts/
If that folder does not exists, make one.

i remember vigilante in gta vc in a tank you could easily rack up $500k by doing that if a car touched the tank its destroyed and cops are dumb so they drive into the back of it killing themselves
It works perfect, although I do not know if it happens to me, I always leave the same cars with the criminals
Could you please make it work whenever ? It'd be cool if you could use it with like Flash mod , withoud a cop car.

One suggestion however would be to enable some way of triggering the chase without a siren; ie. when not in a cop car...? The chases in this mod are its best aspect IMHO, but if you trash your cop car and jump in a civ car instead, you can no longer initiate pursuits, only shootouts, by aiming / firing at their car.
If it was also possible to initiate the chase by, say, beeping the horn or flashing headlights / hazard lights or something, that'd be awesome.
It also makes the most of the chase, if you end up pursuing say a souped-up sultan while driving an old banger you just jacked..
The only workaround i've found for now is to initiate the chase while using a police vehicle, then once the suspects are fleeing, grab or spawn another car. Obviously this only works once per chase - you need to grab or spawn another police car to initiate the next chase..
One more thing - i use tkdwnsehtk's Police Dominator:

..which can initiate chases (since it has a siren), but not trigger this mod (pressing 2, it doesn't recognise this as a police car)... any way to add a list of addon police cars it'll recognise?
...sorry to carry on, couple more things that spring to mind while playing:
- i'd prefer if the added carbine rifle was optional, as i prefer to only carry a pistol
- imagine how could it would be if surrounding cops join in by chasing your target; ie. not necessarily spawning them for this purpose, but just causing any cops the fleeing car passes to target / chase them?
This could really compliment Realism Despatch Enhanced... Your mod already provides the single best chase experience, hands down, but they could be even more epic by naturally integrating with the surrounding police instead of just passing them by.. imagine jostling with a bunch of police vehicles trying to PIT a semi fuel tanker whilst speeding along a freeway, proper Mad Max style..? Or a passing police chopper could help you track the targets in a dense urban environment... likewise, being able to disable the satnav and rely on following other police car sirens and lights to keep track of the target car's direction when out of sight etc., assisting situational awareness while making you feel part of the police team..
I'm thinking this kind of thing could unfold emergently if it were possible to simply set some flag that caused ambient cops to target the suspects, while continuing to ignore the player, thereby co-opting whatever other police mods might be present such as RDE that react to NPC 'wanted' status..

@Guadmaz Great Mod!!! Can you make this work with Addon police cars, because it works only with the Vanilla ones. Can I customize what cars will be spawn for me to chase??? Thats Because I use the 70's traffic from Lundy's and is weird to chase a modern car with all the traffic made by classic cars. Thank you for the Mod!

Does the progress not save after saving the game and loading that save?
Also, I can enter vigilante even with a wanted level, and the wanted level goes away. That’s unintended.

it goes kinda like this If you could reuse the same dialog from trevor, micheal, and franklin from when they're drive the taxi's but instead of the taxi dispatcher getting back to ya its the LSPD dispacther geting back to ya I'd think that be really neat and a little more life to the game!

Hi Can You Make The Start Vigilante Mission key custom? like example: L
A great mod, but would be better if there was an ini config file to add more cars in the cop vehicle list. That's how we could do the chases and gunfights using our own addon vehicles. Still, there is a workaround that worked for me. Just spawn the car in which you want to do the chases, and then spawn a vanilla cop car, and just enable the chase mode. Then leave the vanilla cop car and start your chase simply by driving your addon car. The script will not be disabled if you change car while vigilante missions are enabled. you can disable the script in any car, even on foot. I HAVE TRIED THIS AND WORKED FOR ME!
Functional, adds more content to the game.
As the user above mentioned, could definitely use an .ini file.
