Some go quietly, some go with a scream. Some swoop into eternity with a whisper and others go out in a blaze of bloody carnage.
You are the Grim Reaper, driving along casually in your hearse along the streets of Los Santos gathering innocent lives of the people on the street! Need to
harvest the soul of someone driving a motorcycle? No problem! They come flying right off! Need to collect the soul of someone in a car? No problem! Just pull up next to them and POOF! they're eternal. Cops on your tail? Phase them into non-existence in an instant! You can even reap from the air. Reaping only works from a vehicle... for now.
This script is for single-player only.
UPDATE 1.2
Update 1.2 is now complete! Major overhaul of reaping logic in this one. Along with the following. Please make sure to replace both the GrimReaper.dll and GrimReaper.ini files in your \gta\scripts folder with these new ones.
UPDATE 1.1
Update 1.1 is now available. The following has been fixed or added:
As always, thank you for your feedback and suggestions!
Options
There are a number of options you can use in the GrimReaper.ini. You can set the reap radius and keys options in the file, and you can use specific keys in-game to change the reap strength. You can also set what character model you want the mod to spawn you as, if you don't like the default one. I'm hoping to add a grim reaper skin in the next update. Here are the ini vars:

UPDATE 1.2
Update 1.2 is now complete! Major overhaul of reaping logic in this one. Along with the following. Please make sure to replace both the GrimReaper.dll and GrimReaper.ini files in your \gta\scripts folder with these new ones.
- REAPING FROM VEHICLES - Added this as optional, just press the B key in-mod. This setting is auto-saved to ini. Key changable in ini.
- GORE - Added some blood per request. Only enabled via ini. Off by default. Might add more gore in future updates.
- INI - Fixed problem with ini key remapping. Make sure to copy new ini over old.
- PULL STRENGTH - Removed this because changing the value caused problems at any setting other than most effective one.
- Removed unnecessary delay following mod-start and spawn of hearse.
- Fixed the way peds are handled when flying toward player vehicle. A more adequate threshold at which ped's alpha fades and ped dies has been established along with turning off ped collision once ped reaches sub-threshold distance. This helps with ped removal from memory without issues. Also accommodates larger vehicles more effectively.
- Partially reaped peds (less than 1.0 alpha, dead or alive) are now removed from memory when player exits mod or turns off reaping. This helps deal with "leftover peds" who would have previously been stuck in limbo around the world.
UPDATE 1.1
Update 1.1 is now available. The following has been fixed or added:
- Fixed "Souls reaped" counter bug.
- Improved vehicle reaping. You don't have to be right next to the vehicles now and peds vaporize in their vehicles.
- Improved reaping from heli. Peds fly to underside of chopper instead of flying into the blades.
- Added extended range when reaping from heli.
- REAPINGS = 0 (this is your tally and is updated as you go)
- REAP_RADIUS = 30 (highly recommend you keep this below about 80)
- PULL_STRENGTH = 5 (this is the speed at which peds will be pulled toward you)
Keys
- ALT+N - Start/stop mod
- G - Start/stop reaping
- I - Invincibility on/off
- ALT+NumPad7 - Increase reap strength
- ALT+NumPad4 - Decrease reap strength

@rappo Yes. And sorry about the rush of uploads earlier. I was urgently trying to update just a single variable in the code that determines at what distance from the player the harvested peds should be before they are released from memory.
@mutoit That would be awesome! I've wished they'd do that in GTA for the longest time.

The one bug is back! only if I get the supermarkt and the Marathon guy, the counter count without limit.
@WingsOnHigh yeah you're right, i forget that i'm using ALT+N for another mod, after i open grimreaper.ini and change the hotkey to Keys. L , it doesn't change and still using ALT+N ingame, , so i remove the mod which uses ALT+N, and then iit works and really cool lol, anyway do you know why the hotkey doesn't change ingame?
ive made a mod review vid it just uploading ill put the link when its up
@Sakura240 Nooo!!!! lol :) The reason behind this bug is that, for whatever reason, the reaped ped isn't able to get within the target distance of the player's ped. I did make a "quiet update" to the file mid-day yesterday, which took this into account and expands the range to 10 units. Perhaps the latest version of the file will resolve that issue. What is most challenging with mod making is that it's hard to test a mod against every possible situation in GTA... the world is massive! But I love it. And I appreciate your feedback, as always!
@Lucky24 That's an odd one. I'll look into it when I get home tonight.
there my mod review of your mod https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GtvBwIaFax4&feature=youtu.be
I've been trying to make this mod but I'm kinda noob, I downloaded it and pasted in GTA V but it's still not working. can't you make a video for noobs like me?
And forgive me for any grammar mistakes, English is not my mother language and I can't talk fluently like a native
Hey guys, I am working on v1.2 right now to resolve a few odd bits and add better functionality. Trying to take my time though and test a lot before release to make sure it's all just right. For those having a problem with setting the keys in the ini file, all you need to do is put the name of the key, N for example, by itself and leave off the "Keys." part. So, instead of "START_MOD = Keys.N" it would be "START_MOD = N" (no quotes). This will be fixed in v1.2. Thanks for your patience and continued support. I am glad you guys are enjoying my mod!
V1.2 is out!
@AndyVM Thank you!
@jackyhunty Great vid m8! Thank you for sharing my mod.
@WingsOnHigh Oh!! Very Fun So Crazy. I'm Follow you, Mods Creator ^^. Give to sharing Mod >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98z8MpOALC8
Looks good nice updates
@WingsOnHigh its ok man your welcome
@WingsOnHigh the update fixes changeable hotkey ingame, thanksomuch!! does somebody use sjaak simple trainer? because i think it conflicts with this mod, whenever i use ALT+S(my hotkey) to start grimreaper, the game crashes, but if i remove sjaak trainer, then hit ALT+S this mod works, and by the way, the gore update is damn too gore lol (y)
@WingsOnHigh it doesn't conflict now, i don't know what happen, at the first time using this mod, it crashes, but now it's working, keep it up! 100/10 too much fun
@Lucky24 Glad to hear that! And glad you like the gore. :) I'm searching GTA's particle systems for more chunky gore. On the crash, my guess is that it's due to both scripts trying to do similar actions simultaneously (like spawning a vehicle or changing the player skin), causing the crash.
Quick question to those using my mods: Do you think using ALT plus another key is a good or bad way to start mods, or should it just be a regular key press without ALT?
does this work when not driving ?
i almost died laughing. lol
