Yes, you read that right. the LSFD did spend 3 million dollars on a new truck that'll probably never get used, and for what? For riots that involve arson? They're still pretty common in LS. Either way, the RCV becomes something you probably didn't imagine it to be.
Hand-crafted LSFD livery reusing some parts from the Fire Truck.
Credits to TheF3nton for the UV mapped model and texture template.
Note: Currently an issue with the off-set of the water spray from the cannon itself. Doesn't affect gameplay and is still usable, but is noticeable.
----- File Contents -----
- folder with dlc pack containing new "riot22" model, livery and new data for the truck
----- Releases -----
V1: Initial release
----- Installation -----
1. Start OpenIV.
2. Navigate to the 'mods' folder or create it in the GTA V folder if you don't have it. Create the following path: update/x64/dlcpacks/
3. Copy the rcv folder within the archive into the dlcpacks folder created previously within the mods folder.
4. Navigate to 'dlclist.xml' in update\update.rpf\common\data\ and copy the entire catalogue into the mods folder
5. Add "dlcpacks:\rcv\" to the bottom of the list within the dlclist.xml file.
6. If done correctly, the mod should be ready to use.
To spawn the vehicle, the model name is "riot22".

Looks awesome and beastly!
good job!
Will this vehicle spawn in dispatch.meta in FIRETRUK section? I mean will it spawn as ai like the other firetruck ingame?
Good mod btw, it makes the RCV usefull.
@Ilikeeditingpolice01 add riot22 to the list and it should :) although it won't spawn with firefighters as the vehicle isn't intended to be a traffic vehicle. You can add the firefighters to its drivers in vehicles.meta
@Monkeypolice188 Ok thanks!
@Ilikeeditingpolice01 Let me know how it goes on, post a video if you like, I'd be interested to see if they use the water cannon in vehicle fires :P
Looks sick!
I dont know how much is his usable ass fire truck, but looks so nice :D
i really love this concept! Like you said, it feels like the kind of thing that the LSPD would have to invest in with all the crazy that goes on in Los Santos. And it really could be used in riots or terrorist attacks!
I imagine Specialist Firefighters like these from the London Fire Brigade could ride in this with their bulletproof vests and helmets for rescue during marauding terrorist attacks...

@Monkeypolice188 for some reason i can't use the water cannons and why it doesn't have the options like adding a second cannon and speed upgrades. Would like to have a light in this issue.
