This mod adds 15 new lore-friendly liveries along streak, streak42, streakcoaster, streakc and streakcab from Overhauled Trains pack. This pack adds D-RAIL (12 textures) and Los Santos Transit (3 textures) for the trains and wagons stated above based and inspired on some paint jobs from Amtrak and Caltrain compositions while still fitting the game lore.
These “new passenger trains” are added, not replaced and they are set to work and spawn parallel to Walter’s new GO Loco and Brown Streak units. Now the people of San Andreas have more diversified means to travel around the state.
To check the full list of liveries included in this pack click here.
YOU MUST HAVE WALTER'S OVERHAULED TRAINS INSTALLED TO WORK!
For installation instructions, check the READ ME included within the file.
CREDITS:
Walter for this sweet train pack.
AlexVonShep for the lore D-RAIL concept for Amtrak trains.
Have fun with the extra variety of choo-choo!

@ktrainbfs I have heard about this issue before a while ago but I sincerely have no idea how to help you besides that or maybe recommending you verifying your files or rebuilding your mods folder.
I can't seem to get these liveries to spawn. Installed teh DLC and put it in the dlclist.xml. In game I haven't seen it once. been waiting for a long long time. help. I see all the default trains. Also couldn't find that EXACT path for the trains.xml, that was located in a separate path (one that had brownstreak stuff already in it, so I edited that one)
@_Anonymous Did you add both "<train_config name = "drail_streak" [...]" and "<train_config_group name = "...">"? There are two different blocks of codes to set up. I didn't upload a ready-made trains.xml because some people already customized theirs, so this is to avoid conflicts.
The trains.xml path is: "mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5\", exactly the same used by Walter's trains.
there is no trains.xml path there, nor in the stock GTA V folder. It's located in "mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\" (This oneis NOT in the original GTA V folder HOWEVER it was modified somehow by Redux. Josh Romito. Don't understand. probably think this was moved on accident. 34KB) AND "mods\common.rpf\data\levels\gta5" (this one is edited by brownstreak and is 204KB with the added code (added it because I saw existing brownstreak crap)) <-- that one is also in the original GTA V folder
An installation video would be appreciated .-. I have no idea what's wrong
@_Anonymous Make a fresh new mods folder, reinstall your mods (except that Redux garbage, really, avoid it), install Walter's train pack first (apparently you installed the trains.xml in the wrong directory, it must be where I pointed), then this pack and done. Instructions are clear enough in the read me.
Verified game integrity through Steam after deleting update.rpf. still cannot find that trains.xml file in that specific folder. I've always found it in "D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\common.rpf\data\levels\gta5\trains.xml". I could move the file to the path that you specify, though.
Mate, to install it properly first you should follow exactly the instructions set for Walter's trains, if you do it, then you will have it in the correct folder, then you install my pack. Did you read the read me? You should install mods on the mods folder, it is not recommendable to replace original files.
1. Download openIV and create a MODs folder. (see more on OpenIV's site)
2. Place the "overhauledtrains" folder into "mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\".
3. In OpenIV, navigate to "update\update.rpf\common\data\" and find "dlclist.xml".
Extract this file, and add the following line under the last item:
<Item>dlcpacks:\overhauledtrains\</Item>
Replace the file in update.rpf with the modified one.
4. In OpenIV, navigate to "common.rpf\data\levels\gta5\".
Replace "trains.xml", "traintracks.xml" and "trains1.dat" with the modified ones provided.

Walter's readme file specifies a completely different path for trains.xml
@_Anonymous Damn, so I mixed up when I was writing the read me, thanks for pointing that. Sorry, my bad. HAHAHA
Anyway, although on my end the modded trains.xml is still on "update\update.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5" and it is working (I didn't uploaded in the files I said because some people have different train sets and stuff).
I really don't recommend installing stuff outside mods folder, it is better for cleanup in case of updates and broken mods. Things can get easily screwed up. You can just copy the intended rpfs (common.rpf) there or place it inside update.rpf, any of them will be recognized anyway.
Thank youuuu :) I've never modified any of my original game files. Internet here is slow haha. took 26 days to download GTA. weird how your trains.xml is there. I'll copy? my modified trains.xml to that spot and leave the other version there? We'll see
@_Anonymous My internet is a piece of crap too, it took about that to download the game too, so another reason to don't mess with the game files. HAHAHA
Most of the mods that changes actual game files I tend to install on update.rpf (when possible) to avoid issues or instability by conflicts with other mods or updates and it always work, as that rpf is loaded after the other game files. If you are using the common.rpf copied inside the mods folder it is ok, you won't have any problems in the future like forced redownload of the changed files during an update. Both the method i used and that one pointed by Walter work.
thank you!! will try tomorrow
@AlexanderLB Nice! I was expecting to see colorful trains with every car featuring another livery - I'm glad you found a workaround :D
Would be handy if you provided a trains.xml compatible with Overhauled Trains right out of the box just for convenience purposes :P
@AlexanderLB Are this mod still compatible with the new "overhauled v3.0"?
Thank you
@Hnagy78 I am not sure, I wasn't able to test it yet but I don't see how it wouldn't be compatible. I may work on a new version to include the new wagons and to add some extra schemes and companies in the future when I finish my current projects.
@AlexanderLB And i will waiting for you to release a new version since i disabled the old one
This video might help. I messed something up last time I installed this, so I can't say this will 100% solve your problems. https://youtu.be/ymLrNTjGBXA
I am going to try installing this mod again when I have a chance.
NICE
why don't I have the metro config sentence in the trains.xml? I tried searching for it inside of It, nothing showed up
