A little history of these aircraft.
PP-PDT: It would first be received by PAM AM, had received until the registration but ended up being sent to PANAIR on March 21, 1961, but on August 20, 1962, suffering an accident on the galleon and the aircraft was lost sinking, floating for 25 min but 13 people died.
PP-PDS: It was delivered to PANAIR in March 1961, when it was forcibly closed, varig leased two dc-8s from PANAIR's bankrupt estate, being operated until 1975, stopped for two years in Porto Alegre waiting for a buyer, then passed to AIR VIAS , suffering an accident in turkey by export air cargo and was cannibalized and abandoned.
PP-BEM: delivered to BETA in January 2008 operating until 2010 after being abandoned in Manaus, where it is still today.
PP-SOP: delivered in september 2001 to vasp, operating until 1992, being demolished in 2004.
Curiosity: this aircraft has already landed in Congonhas, it was the second longest in length to land in cgh, the first being the tam a330.
