This, is JA8456. Air Nippon was a regional airline formed by Toa Domestic, ANA, and Japan Airlines. It was originally named Nippon Kinkyori Airways, but adopted the Air Nippon name in 1987. The Abbreviation comes from the full name "Air Nippon Kabushiki Kaisha" ( Air Nippon joint stock corporation. ) They stopped operating in 2012
