** With 1.4 I have attempted to Fix Mission Trains Crashing, I don't play missions to often so if the problem is still around, Please drop a comment.
This mod changes what Trains are hauling, There are a few freight cars that have been removed and new ones added for now there are only 2 variations of train spawns and one metro train change. (As of 1.1 Readded freight cars in different variations.)
a long oil train, and a double engine no freight cars setup.(added too many to list as of 1.1)
The metro train is now much longer with 8 cars attached.
This mod also makes all trains stop at stations like the mp ones do.

Install
----------------------------------------------------------------
open openIV.
Navigate to
Update.rpf>common>
data>levels>gta5
Add the xml files to this folder. This will take load priority
over anything in common.rpf
so no need to backups
(if you want it gone delete the files from update.rpf.)
Close open iv.

Start gtav go to a train track to check changes to what they are hauling.
Also I've tested this with train driver scripts it works perfect.
**If you experience crashing on game start, Reopen update.rpf in openIV and Click file Rebuild.**

1.) To install open update.rpf In openIV......... [check]
2.)Navigate to data-levels-gta5
Q)What ? Don't you mean Common/data-levels-gta5?]
3.) Add in the two files to the gta5 folder this will overwrite common.rpf so no need to backups.
Q.)[So im adding the two XMLS directly into the [gta5] folder under [Common/data-levels-gta5] using Ope IV ok how exactly is placing these files in [Common/data-levels-gta5] overwriting Common.rpf when Common.rpf is the root directory of Grand theft Auto?
(if you want it gone delete the files form update.rpf.)

So simply place the two Provided XML'S in Update.rpf/Common/data-levels-gta5 and by Overwrite common.rpf you mean it will take 1st priority over Common.rpf

I see, ok thanks everything is working great (No crashes) as of yet... started laughing my ass off had a friend with the Xbox version of this game come over he wanted to wait for the train to pass by then realized how long it was (his reaction) was PRICELESS Hahahahaha
Only crash I've had is when the North Yankton train spawns, other than that, working perfectly.
@Anach i seem to be getting it aswell with both mine and the other train config mod on here. ill look into it.

@icey701 it seem like it works some time then it dont one time i was playing mission with micheal and trevor chasing lazlow in the 18 wheeler and seen the frieght train on the tram track stuck at the tunnel and my game crashed . I tryed the mission again when i rebooted seen the same thing this time it didnt crash it crashed later on. I dont get it i installed right.

I have problem. When i delete trains and trainstrack i have a crash (when i been close to train) wtf?

is there a way to make trains (main engines) appear in different colors?
via trainer you can notice that you can paint them so they support different paint but in default they just come in yellow
i tried to find a carcolors.meta entry about FREIGHT but no luck so idk :/
