Looks interesting and pretty dope, will be trying this out!
Anyway you can fix this problem or at least make it to where we cant see this https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/896619062535258132/949563493277904896/unknown.png
@TRClassic92 I don't know how you want, so I'm not going to adapt to everyone. You can do it yourself as you need. Download CodeWalker and make it your way.
nice
Great job!
looks good.
@DRIFTOK I already have codewalker and I'm sure others would want that to be changed.... it was more or less a suggestion.
Ugly bridge
@DRIFTOK That's an excellent idea to have a bridge there in that area but, it would be nice if you could make a more realistic looking model with more detail, like with columns and an arched suspender, sort of like this one > https://wallup.net/preview/?wallpaper=salginatobel-bridge . The current one looks a bit too thick, like a solid cement block but, it's still useful.
@JustDancePC well, do it better, smart guy. I posted this mod for free and do not ask for anything in return. If you don't like it, don't download.
@JAM102970 Thank you for your constructive criticism. I will try to do as you advised me.
@DRIFTOK Love this but as Jam said it needs to be more realistic looking nevertheless good work ignore the dumb idiotic comments such as @JustDancePC made keep it up!
@DRIFTOK WOW I didn't think you were gonna work on my suggestion right away.....Awesome improvement you did on the bridge dude! The new version definitely takes the cake.....5 stars!
@DRIFTOK
I like v1.1 way better, great improvement!!
had to defrag the dlc.rpf from 594MB to 7,5MB first, then renamed the dlc entries to ratonbridge in content.xml and setup2.xml and then set the sort_order to 99 instead of 2
as there's no paved road nearby I'm thinking a wooden / planks road construction might be suited better than asphalt?
anyway, thank you for sharing your work with us!
@ReNNie Thank you for your advice. I did not know that you need to defragment rpf archives. I'll try to make a wooden bridge and rename the model "ratonbridge" as you suggested.
@DRIFTOK You changed it, this version looks much better than the first one (which was absolutely horrendous). Still, idk what kind of bridges do you have in your city, but those wood ramps look bad, really bad design there.
@JustDancePC And how should I make a check-in on the bridge if the landscape is of different heights? You can remove this wooden ramp with CodeWalker, but then you will only be able to drive onto the bridge from one side.
@DRIFTOK That's why you should level the terrain before making the bridge.
Unlike real life, you can't change the terrain (I think), so you can add some support on the short side to have both ends at the same height, that way the bridge is properly constructed without those ramps.
Or, instead of having a completely straight bridge, it could be curved to adjust to the different terrain heights on both ends
@DRIFTOK Also adding on to what ReN said I would have the bridge on a incline instead of having that unrealistically steep ramp at the end, also would still leave the bottom part concrete as it wouldn't be able to structurally support it self if it was all wooden, but for sure the road should be made out of wooden boards, also I would make it rustic/abandoned with moss, cracks, dirt, broken/wear down boards, etc
Also might be better to modify the terrain like @JustDancePC said
