Description :
This mod replaces the all the original backfire sounds of the game for the ones I made.
It won't work on some cars (DLC Cars) that have their backfire sounds in their own .awc file.
I hope you'll enjoy it !

For the people saying this mod is crashing your game, it isn’t. Remove all your add on dlcpacks and then change gameconfig and re-add them. Or it’s because you don’t have enough video memory. It isn’t this mod. I made an account just to write this, and I’ve been using this mod October of 2015. So will everyone stop saying it’s this mod that’s crashing your game
@CreativeGames I'm not playing GTA V anymore at all, hence why none of my mods get updates. I barely check this website anymore. I have a few unreleased mods, you can get them by coming on my discord server.
Also, each and every single DLC car has its own .awc file which means it has own backfire sound. And I can't be bothered to make 200+ .awc files. If you really want to change the backfire sound of a DLC car, you'll have to do it yourself.
@Swiftly THANK YOU for saying this. Each and every single person that tells me this mod makes their game crash makes me lose my fucking mind.
@Hippy some niggas just don't know how to mod properly without they game crashing. they're genuinely retarded man...
is there any files to edit so my add on yz450f would backfire?
@Krildschroete Yes, you can listen to the .awc file of the car and see which ones are backfire sounds, then edit them.
@Hippy the .awc has backfire sounds but the yz450f can't backfire. i mean is there like a line in a meta file that affects the backfire
Are the backfires in order? I'm trying to replace Elegy backfires.
@hippy sup man hope you well, just downloaded your mod and I think I did something wrong although I followed the steps my t20/p1 isn't back firing and it sounds like the skyline mod but alot softer dono why
If you can could you please assist, thank you will really appreciate it
ok guys for dlc cars it's a bit complicated but I know how to do.
go to : mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/(choose the dlc folder you want)
exemple : mpimportexport/dlc.rpf/x64/audio/sfx/dlc_importexport
now, choose the the car file .awc you want.
exemple: italigtb.awc , right click then and export to open format.
now: in italigtb folder you are extract search: VEHICLE_EXTRAS_HI_EXHAUST_POP_01,02,03,04 and 05. is the backfire sound.
now take the version of the mod you want (version 1,2 or old) and rename your files exemple : 0x0AC37C55 to VEHICLE_EXTRAS_HI_EXHAUST_POP_01 and replace it. even if there is only 5 files with name VEHICLE_EXTRAS_HI_EXHAUST_POP, with the version 1 of the mod i have 13 files. so take the 13 files and change it by VEHICLE_EXTRAS_HI_EXHAUST_POP_01,02,03,04,05,06,07,08,09,10,11,12,13.
after just replace italigtb.awc with your new. ATTENTION, EACH CAR ARE A DIFFERENT NAME FOR POP FILES.
now for your ADDON CAR
just go to your vehicules.meta to your addon car and search the line <audioNameHash>
exemple <audioNameHash>ELEGY<audioNameHash> and change ELEGY with the other sound car you want.
@pogo93 good stuff man! One thing I noticed tho. Why do all my cars now have the same backfire noise? Version 1,2 and OLD has like....12 different sounds files but my cars only produce 1 same sound.
I don't have backfire sound now. i used VERSION 1
@Hippy I Can´t Find The x64-Audio-And The Other?
@Hapyo Kick Have you figured it out ?
Do u know which file/files are for the Backfire sound from the Marshall?
ya sorry i found it but i have another question to anyone who has some knowledge in sound modding..Could anyone help me out? ,:D
@bariwithnoferrari Yes. I reinstalled the mod
is this client-side for fivem or server-side?
@UhZarro Client side
